PS: Adam Lambert = MY American Idol, regardless of who wins next week. And Kris, Kris... oh Kris, you blew me away with that second song of yours. I thought the Fray's version was haunting and beautiful and that nothing could beat it, but oh, you threw that thought out of the window and made me worship. For that, you deserve a spot in the finals. Support Kradam, everybody!!!

PPS: some food for thought;

"So today was my first day of my 3 day fast. It wasnt quite as hard as I thought it would be. I didn't really tell my mom and dad until about six in the evening. by "chance" one of my best friends came over after school to hang out and he ended up eating my dinner. ("chance" = miracle from God)

I have started to see what life is like for the starving in Darfur. I cannot wait until Friday when I go back to eating anything and everything. Friday is the goal. but in Darfur, there is no goal. There is no friday when you can eat again. They do not have an end goal like I have. How can they carry on? What is their source of hope? Something too glorious for me to comprehend is at work in the world.

But how amazing it is, that I have not eaten in nearly 24 hours, yet have carried out my daily activities as normal. I have a strength to face my hunger, my "hurricane" with a simple "hello." hunger is not enough to silence me. dead fury is not enough. While I may be empty physically, I am full spiritually. and this will carry me through the next two days of fasting."

regarding work? i'm about ready to start praying for someone to shoot me in the head with a tranquilizer gun.

on the bandom front, however, epic news from Switchfoot cheered me up slightly :)

oh, who am i kidding, that's one hell of an understatement. it cheered me up a whole lot.

instead of recording for one album, like they made us believe they were, they've been recording for four, and they're going to release it all in a series over time, eighty songs in all.

that's right. you read right.

they're going to release one this year, called "Hello Hurricane" (which is an awesome name, if you ask me), and another one next year called "Vice Verses" -- featuring the song Vice Verses, which the boys showcased on tour, viewable, of course, on Youtube. i. am. so. goddamn. excited. like. you wouldn't. believe!!!!

AAAAAH.

it isn't even Christmas yet!!!!

talking to some people today made me feel so much better about life and everything concerning it. i've sussed out some problems and what to do with and about them, and it feels amazing that a weight so heavy has somewhat become a lighter burden. the weight's still there, but i'm sure it'll slowly come off.

we are crooked souls trying to stay up straight, dry eyes in the pouring rain, the shadow proves the sunshine

this line is what is fuelling me now. after moments of being in shadow, you'll just know that the sunshine is soon to come again :) it's just a matter of patience. and strength.

my mother thinks that going to the temple again after eight to nine months (because she made me) has changed me. maybe it has. maybe it's time to start believing in religion again. maybe it's time to start having faith and belief in myself. maybe i never did stop.

i can't wait for what's to come.

the girl was at a crossroads, and unsure back then, she did not know which path to take. certain now, she smiled, held her head up high, and went straight ahead.

i couldn't find time to go out today, because 1) i woke up at three o clock after having a nightmare about the mcDonalds delivery guy with no finger (he does exist in real life. i will copy/paste the story from my blogspot if you want) and 2) i'm lazy to change out of my pajamas.

off to a rocky start, but hey, its a start nevertheless. isn't it? :(

i'm just going to watch more 90210. it's a little like Gossip Girl with all the scandals and the recurring hookups that never seem to end, but its got a little more heart in it. and i can sort of relate to Annie in a way....

it's a good show -- watch it if you can. or if you know me, bring over a DVD and i'll be glad to burn episodes in for you! or give you the download links. whatever way works.
